Threewaxbirds press, a new and developing independent publisher, is currently seeking submissions of all kinds for the first edition of its lit zine, [Nerve]. It will be a black and white, professionally bound and printed magazine available for a minimal purchase price.
We are looking for visual and written work of all kinds, including poetry, vignettes, short stories, commentaries, comics, drawings, paintings, collages, and photographs. We are interested in and excited about any other work you think would fit in or blur the lines between these genres. While we will consider exceptional longer pieces, we are looking for written work that is 1000 words or fewer.
threewaxbirds press looks for work that is poetic, simple, memorable, and poignant. [nerve] looks to be a lit zine that showcases and exemplifies the work that will become characteristic of threewaxbirds press.
